Duties: National Railroad Passenger Corporation has an opening for an Engineering Management Associate - Communications in Philadelphia, PA. Work with senior staff to review various in-house and third party construction designs to verify compliance with Corporate and industry standards and assure there is no conflict with departmental infrastructure or train operations. Assist management and agreement staff with maintenance of various RF, Telecom and IP Network systems that support all areas of an electrified railroad operation. Create and update technical documents and maintenance records.

Requirements: Employer will accept Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, and 6 months of work experience in job offered or 6 months of work experience in a related occupation. Experience must include the following: Interpreting and understanding detailed civil, electrical and network design documents; Network administration; Configuration and asset management processes; Understanding of structured telecommunications cabling infrastructure; Workstation/server configuration and maintenance experience; and, Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
