SUMMARY OF DUTIES:


Our team is looking for computer science interns to provide assistance in various software development projects using different technologies and platforms such as Mulesoft, AWS, salesforce etc.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


• The Junior BA/QA will be responsible for working with Developers to define business requirements and ensure that the application meets those business requirements. The right candidate will have experience facilitating requirements gathering sessions, creating conceptual workflow diagrams, writing requirements specifications, and managing the process to ensure timely completion of information needed to initiate the Development process.

• Collaborate with management and diverse project teams to collect requirements and report progress of tasks assigned.  

• Organize, review, and write functional specs  

• Execute test cases and test data

• Log defects and communicate project issues/concerns

• Retest defects after resolution, as necessary  

• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and Process

• Review product requirements and design documents to create appropriate test plans and test cases.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


• Must be actively pursing a degree at an accredited educational institution.  

• Must be actively pursing an undergraduate/graduate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering, or similar major.

• Must have at least 1 year of academic undergraduate studies completed or a sophomore status at minimum.

• Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

• Must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week between the days/hours of Monday – Friday, 8am –   5pm.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


• Ability to work well in a team establishing good working relationships with peers

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with a strong attention to detail

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

• Proactively carry out project support functions.

• Desire to learn and adapt to rapidly changing technologies

• Excellent communication skills, written and oral

• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with other IT teams

• Experience in Agile Development, Software Engineering and Software Quality Control is a plus.

• Understanding basic software programming concepts
