SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Human Resources Representative provides technical and functional expertise on transactional operations within the HR Support Services team. This position is responsible for providing support to an assigned function; including reviewing, processing, and entering HR data. This position ensures timely and accurate service delivery for onboarding, personnel transactions, records management, and maintenance of the organizational structure. This role serves as a point of escalation on highly complex transactions. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Collaborate with Generalists and Business Partners to anticipate and meet HR processing needs.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in regards to data, transaction processing, organization structure, and service delivery. 
  • Responds to questions and inquiries from employees, managers, or delegates on procedures and practices via multiple channels (e.g., e-mail or phone). 
    • Ensures high-quality standards for all activities, initiatives, and tasks within the designated functional area(s) of responsibility. Adheres to all service level agreements (SLAs) established by the HR functional area(s) / team(s). 
    • Portrays a positive, professional, customer and delivery orientated image of the company. 
    • Provides continuous status updates, guidance, and information to customers, key stakeholders, and colleagues within the HR function to ensure case resolution. 
  • Process transactions, such as new hires, transfers, salary changes, terminations, etc. 
  • Regular interaction and communication with candidates, Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers, and delegates to support the hiring process. Follow up on candidate status throughout the post-offer process and take appropriate action in situations where hiring timelines are in jeopardy.
  • Guides and supports HR Coordinators on complex transactions and/or inquiries.
  • Troubleshoots and resolve issues to ensure accurate processing.
  • Monitors and checks work for quality assurance and data integrity. 
  • Support the testing of human resources systems, upgrades, and/or new functionality.
  • Develops and maintains documentation of processes keeping all procedures current. 
  • Anticipates roadblocks and take steps to remove them proactively. 
  • Assist with projects as directed by the manager.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field (Human Resources, Administrative, Customer Service); or an equivalent amount of work experience (minimum of 6 years) and training in a similar role 
  • Extensive experience working with Microsoft Office suite
  • Customer service focus and strong interpersonal skills 
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of HR processes and systems  
  • Decipher ambiguous requests and determine appropriate next steps
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Superior time management skills.  Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, high volume work environment
  • Ability to re-prioritize based off changes in business needs
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with SAP HR systems, computer system or database experience
  • Some project management experience
  • Experience in an HR Shared Services environment
  • Strong knowledge of business process improvements
  • Recruitment support experience
  • Call center support experience
  • Some HR Generalist experience


COMMUNICATIONS AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
