The candidate is an impeccable communicator with expertise in developing client proposals, defining business requirements and negotiation. We are seeking a creative problem solver with extensive critical thinking skills to push beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices, current capabilities, and client mindsets. This Manager role is the primary resource responsible for identifying the business objectives of new and existing customers. With a thorough understanding of product capabilities, the manager produces client program concepts that leverage platform’s capabilities. One of the goals is to become the “trusted, objective advisor” to clients ensuring business requirements, goals and objectives are clearly defined. This position consistently works in a cross-functional environment including members of all business areas including Employee, Train Operations, Information Technology, Product Development, and Sustainable IT Operations.

Key Job Requirements:
• Direct all project phases; Initiate, Plan, Execute, Test, Monitor & Control, Close.
• Take ownership of client relationship by ensuring scope is defined and documented, acceptance criteria are defined, and expectations are fully managed.
Program Scope Management
• Facilitate program alignment for in/out of scope with all business stakeholders and team members.
• Ensure all approvals are completed before entering plan and design phase.
• Establish and integrate multiple projects aligned within an overall program framework.
• Ensure requirements are clearly defined, documented, testable and traceable.
Program Management
• Interface with support teams to flesh out and document customer requirements.
• Lead designers, business analysts and information architects to deliver agreed upon requirements.
• Utilize software tools to develop and manage task assignment.
• Define, baseline and maintain a program schedule in PMO schedule management tool.
• Integrate multiple project schedules into an overall program schedule.
• Enter key deliverables as defined by PMO standards into Jira and/or Confluence and ensure data is accurate on a weekly basis.
• Drive and track work completion against the program schedule.
Program Change Management
• Develop and execute an effective change management process.
• Identify and capture change impacts and associated risks to project scope, schedule, cost and quality.
• Escalate change requests to appropriate stakeholders for approval.
• Update program documentation to incorporate approved change requests.
Program Quality Management
• Ensure there is a defined quality plan in place.
• Develop and maintain test plans and procedures as required by client.
• Facilitate a formal go / no-go decision ensuring holistic and appropriate representation.
Program Communication Management
• Ensure program headline and weekly status per PMO standards are clear, concise, timely and accurate.
• Develop and execute a project communication plan including executive communication.
• Tailor written and verbal communication to the audience as appropriate.
• Verbal and written communication is clear, concise and effectively conveys intended message.
• Encourage feedback and provide feedback to others. Encourage participation/decision making with others.
• Demonstrate effective meeting facilitating through pre-planning, agenda and meeting minutes.
Team Leadership
• Execute in a leadership role for the program success.
• Demonstrate passion to succeed, work to inspire others, and celebrate team success.
• Build momentum to become a trusted partner by seeking to understand the business’ environment – their vision, priority, and challenges.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, information technology, MBA preferred
• Must be able to understand, gather and write business requirements of systems
• Must have experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• 7-10 years of business analysis experience, preferably within the loyalty OR credit card OR auto industry
• Possesses business-user/high-level understanding in the areas of website integration, data integration methods and procedures, and software development lifecycle
• Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously, under tight deadlines
• Must possess impeccable verbal and written communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate at all levels, including C level executives of Fortune 500 companies.
• Must possess strong negotiation skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• 10-15% travel required
